DI Helmut Pointner<br \/>\nWettbewerb: 12.1996<br \/>\nBauzeit: 06.1997 \u2013 07.1998<br \/>\nBaumarkt Bestand: 3.859 m2<br \/>\nNeubau: 5.931 m2<\/p>\n<p><strong>DE<\/strong> Die Konzeption des Entwurfes basiert auf der Idee die unterschiedlichen Marktbereiche (bestehender Baumarkt \u2013 Erweiterung der Halle und Glashaus) in einer Gro\u00dfform zu vereinigen, um in der st\u00e4dtebaulichen diffusen Situation ein signifikantes Zeichen zu setzen.<br \/>\nEs wird versucht die Dynamik des Ortes durch das geschwungene in den Stra\u00dfenraum ragende Geb\u00e4ude mit seiner kontinuierlich \u00f6ffnenden Lamellenfassade zu steigern.<br \/>\nDas Tragsystem der Fassade besteht aus einem Netz von vertikalen und horizontalen St\u00e4ben innerhalb bzw. au\u00dferhalb der Glashaut.<br \/>\nDie innenliegenden vertikalen Stahlschwerter sind oben und unten gelenkig gelagert. Dazwischen sind horizontal Faltstegrohre als Auflager f\u00fcr die Isolierglasscheiben eingeschwei\u00dft.<br \/>\nDie Lamellenfassade besteht aus 3,0 m langen und 1,6 m breiten in sich verwundenen Aluminiumfl\u00fcgeln, die sich von der vertikalen Position im Bereich des geschlossenen Marktes in Richtung Glashaus sukzessive \u00f6ffnen und dort den horizontalen Sonnenschutz bilden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EN<\/strong> The design incorporates the different market areas into a large shape and sets a significant tone in a diffuse urban situation.<br \/>\nThe sweeping building, with its gradually opening slatted facade, projects into the street area and tries to increase the dynamics of the location.<br \/>\nThe supporting system of the facade consists of a network of vertical and horizontal bars and tubes inside and outside the glass facade.<br \/>\nThe 3 m long and 1.6 m wide slats are fixed onto round tubes which at the same time buttress the facade  as multiple tension belts.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><br \/>\n<div id=\"links2-link-482\" class=\"sh-link links2-link sh-hide\"><a href=\"#\" onclick=\"showhide_toggle('links2', 482, '\u2192 Publikationen', 'Publikationen \u2190');
